Daryl assists the Controller with financial processes and data integral to the supporting MVP goals.
Daryl began his accounting career in San Francisco after completing his graduate program at San Francisco State University. He studied accounting at the City College of San Francisco and worked as a bookkeeper in the Bay Area. In 2008, he returned to New York to pursue his academic career, which coincided with his start in nonprofit accounting with Battery Dance Company and Make the Road NY.
He uses his background in English literature, creative writing, and literacy to offer different perspectives and research useful tools to help with accounting processes and routines. When he’s not working, Daryl spends a lot of time reading, writing, exercising, and playing with his children and cats.
